Before You Listen

I wrote these songs during a time of discovery. They weren't just about love externally, but also about redefining love for myself, my music, and the life I was trying to build.

I was wandering around in my brain, trying to figure out who I wanted to be because the life I thought I would have by then hadn't arrived yet. So I turned to the place that has always given me a soft place to land and an understanding of a large part of who I am.

My hope is that you find these songs fun, reflective, and refreshing, and remember that love is truly found in the art of creating something within and of ourselves.

Because that love becomes what we're able to share with someone else.

The Story Behind the Music

And So It Was follows the emotional life cycle of a relationship: the magnetic beginning, the sweetness of falling in love, the ache of losing yourself, and the freedom that comes from understanding that love is a "yes, and" experience.
